The Spirit of Aloha – to give and ask for nothing in return – has always been engrained in my life. My father, Dr. Dorian Paskowitz M.D., came to the Hawaiian islands in 1939 and fell in love with the people, sea and surf. I was born in Makaha Beach and from very early on learned the importance of aloha from my father, who was dedicated to treating the island community and promoting the health and spiritual benefits of surfing.

Aloha is omnipresent in the way I interact with community, live, and work today. I continue my father’s legacy by giving back to the community through surfing and charity, including Surfers Healing, a surf camp for children with autism, as well as Make-A-Wish Hawaii, Na Kama Kai Hawaii, and the Mauli Ola Foundation Hawaii. Aloha is a fundamental part of my relationships, and the essence of the partnership I have with my clients.

Our lifestyles are a reflection of our values and what matters most to us – how we live is a composite of not only our beliefs, but location and style preferences as well. I was raised in a 24’ camper with eight siblings traveling coastal America so that my father could serve areas where doctors were desperately needed. My father had a passion for life, surfing, and helping people, and how we lived was a direct reflection of these values. I understand that our beliefs are actualized by our lifestyle preferences, and keep this top of mind when working with my clients to buy or sell real estate that is inline with their principles.

My experience serving clients spans over 30 years, including 25 years of customer service in the film industry and half a decade selling and buying properties in Hawaii. I maintain a customer-first approach, which means I am always available to clients. Since joining Locations in 2013, I have successfully closed over 30 transactions across Oahu, Kauai and Hawaii and am proud to be on the Locations Foundation Advisory Board.
